HOW TO TRAVEL TO CUBA FROM U.S.

Travel to Cuba from the USA is very affordable, as flights typically cost much less than your average international flight. There are direct flights from multiple airports in the United States to Havana, Cuba. The main cities with daily direct flights to Havana are Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Atlanta, New York (JFK and Newark) and Houston. You can also fly from Cancun or Mexico City, as well as other international locations, but most -directly travel to Cuba from the USA.
That said, CHACO Travel strongly recommends planning well in advance if you intend to fly to Havana around Christmas and/or New Year’s Eve. Mid-to-late March can be slightly higher due to spring break for college students in the US, but still affordable compared to most destinations around that time.
Some travelers choose to spend some time in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or even Cancun, before flying to Havana. The flights from those locations are direct and approximately one hour.
